We spent an exciting time in France at the European College of Sport Science – ECSS Congress in Paris During an Invited Symposium, Prof Anne-Marie Elbe, Dr Lambros Lazarus, and Dr Vassilis Barkoukis presented our ViRAL project to a large audience. We enjoyed a lively discussion and many interesting questions about our research! #ECSS2023

Congratulations to Marcus Melzer for successfully defending his thesis entitled “Beyond a Social-Cognitive Perspective on Doping – Towards an Integrative Model of Person−Situation Interactions” at UNIVERSITÄT LEIPZIG.

We hosted a large dissemination event for our ViRAL project with a presentation by Theresa Manges and Enno Winkler. We are happy that many of our master’s students attended – also from Πανεπιστήμιο Θεσσαλίας in Thessaly – and are keen on participating in the #virtualreality game.
The educational material of the project “VIRAL” was presented in young athletes. The AUTH team distributed leaflets to the athletes and informed them about the project and educational material. Emphasis was placed in the promotion of innovative and impactful anti-doping education through VR.
